Ackermann muss sich in Bonn Hodeg knapp geschlagen geben

(rsn) - Alvaro Hodeg (Quick-Step Floors) hat zum Auftakt der neuen Deutschland-Tour (2.1) Pascal Ackermann (Bora-hansgrohe) das Nachsehen gegeben. Der 21-jährige Kolumbianer gewann die 1. Etappe über 157 Kilometer von Koblenz nach Bonn im Massensprint knapp vor dem Deutschen Meister, der etwas zu früh im Wind war. Dritter wurde der Italiener Niccolo Bonifazio (Bahrain-Merida). "Ich bin sehr enttäuscht. Ich war wohl etwas zu früh im Wind und habe versucht, noch mit einem Tigersprung vorzukommen. Aber es hat nicht gereicht“, sagte Ackermann im Ziel zu radsport-news.com.
